Coming home for the summer is one of the best things that Grishley has done in a long while, while fears of missing the hustle and bustle of her beloved college town almost kept her in Corvallis for the sunny months, the idea of a full bedroom makeover at home soon won her over!
Organizing the pieces that I brought home was one thing, but organizing the new pieces in process was a complete other thing! The above mixup of pieces are all ones that I have finished recently, several are for my upcoming trip to Honk Kong, and the others are for my Mom’s weekend collection for school! 
Jewelry always seems to be strewn about my room, and so I threw together this jewelry rack with a few pieces from school, and a bunch I found behind furniture while doing my bedroom overhaul!
The belt/clutch drawer is getting pretty loaded these days, after puring all of my hand-me-downs I came to find that I had over a dozen unaccounted clutches… ahhh its like finding money in your pocket!
The patterns and fabric keep rolling. This is just an insider pic into what my floor of “the studio” looks like! More pics to come of the studio in progress after Hong Kong, and some fresh Paint! Any Color Suggestions?

With a more professional photo shoot to follow shortly here is a bit of the preview Grishley has been working on over the past few days! This look is a hook and eye short of a complete garment.
The collection will feature neutral tones, feminine figures, and whimsical styling. Something a bit sweet and innocent with a grown up touch.
The collection is coming together nicely and hopefully there will be a Grishley giveaway sometime soon! I wanted to emphasize with this collection that there could be a healthy balance between innocence and sensibility. I can’t wait to style these looks with some killer heels on a long legged model!

So this week has come to an end, after a few stress filled moments and a lot of time withered away in the library, it should have finally been time to relax, but not for Grishley, not only did a column deadline sneak right on up, but a deadline for a design competition also!
