SYNERGIES Feature!

As the summer is winding to an end, the fruits of a labor filled summer are coming to turn! This is the first of hopefully a few articles on my summer experience at the Palmer/Pletsch School of Design in Portland!

I don’t like to get gushy, but this is SO COOL! I had such an amazing time at sewing school, and have an amazing time being an intern for Palmer/Pletsch!

Sunflower fields forever

The day before boyfriend officially left for China (for a Month! Ugh) He took me on an incredibly special date to a nearby sunflower patch. It was by far one of the most simple and inexpensive things that we have done together, but was by far one of my favorite!

Not much for outfit photos, but definitely some good looking scenery…

Just in case you were wondering in these photos I am wearing an oversized linen shirt that I thrifted recently, as well as a pair of OLD NAVY skinny jeans, my Hong Kong watch (which is already showing signs of wear and tear! UGH! I guess thats what you get for $5), and a pair of sandals (not the best choice for this date but they were fine).

The date was an absolute blast, and I took home a head of about 20 gorgeous sunflowers which we humbly paid for by sliding $5 dollars worth of bills and change into an old mailbox on the corner of the property. Boyfriend and I also tried out his new camera, which he got especially for his upcoming trip, and boy is it a beauty!

The best part about this day is the lively little addition I now have on my workspace at home. These lovelies are fragrant, and thirsty! Hopefully they will last for another 24 days!
