Sometimes activewear and high fashion are not to separate, and it is one of my favorite things when they actually overlap…

Mmmm…Yummy.

These videos are a bit old, but they are still the most inspirational EVER! Not only do I want some more Italy in my life, but I’d love to wear JCrew everyday of the week!

The slushy campus bricks have ushered in mandatory boot weather in lovely Oregon, and while Grishley has more than one way to keep her feet dry, sometimes you can’t help but check out what is new in shoes!

These babies are all from Frye, and will set you back a pretty penny… but they sure are good to look at.

With snow falling outside my cozy Corvallis apartment, it is no wonder that my eyes have been wondering a bit from the books lately, especially with cute and flirty sundresses getting stocked on all my favorite sites!
These babes are all from Modcloth, and have made my lust for sunny weather even more exaggerated as of late…

Gucci has always had a way of creating clothes that turn any woman into a wonder woman. Super sexy superhero styles that are sure to be making red carpet appearances as soon as Rachel Zoe can get her mitts on them! This collection has sent me into a bit of a tailspin dreaming about bold and sassy colors for the coming season…ahh bring on the sunshine.

After curling up on the couch with a mighty case of the sniffles, and a big box of kleenex, Grishley spent a bit of her weekend catching up on some red carpet style with the SAG awards.
The clear style winner in my book was Modern Family’s; Sofia Vergara in Roberto Cavalli. Not only was I drooling over her somewhat gravity defying curves, but also love love loved the necking, the length and the accessories! There was a literally “Well Done!” yelled at my TV as she made her was down the press pit.
Now Grishley got to thinking… How can I pull off this killer look? Here are just a few ideas I came up with…

This little lovely from Forever21 will only set you back $29.80, and its shorter length make it more event ready!
Or why not try this baby! It may not be the same color as Sofia’s but the cut and the tucks in the fabric are not only flattering, but will also help tuck in some of those areas that you are not so proud of! This puppy is also from Forever21 and is only $19.80!
If you have a special event coming up, why not shoot some of your “clothing investment” budget at this little baby! This blue lovely is only $74.99 and comes to you straight from Grishley love Modcloth!

All of these dresses would be a great excuse to rock some amazing bangles, a great pair of pumps and that killer clutch you haven’t dusted off since Christmas!
Happy Dressing! Xoxox-Grishley

With all of the dark collections lately, Paul & Joe breathed a sigh of light and fuzziness (if you can sigh fuzziness) into the last moments of fashion week.
It takes a lot to get Grishley really excited about a collection out of sheer whimsy these days, but this collection definitley took the cake.

The collection of super flirty looks including short shorts, jumpsuits, not-you-boyfriend sized jackets and some quality prints really stood out for me. Not only did I immediately want the entire collection, but also pictured myself somewhere sunny with my honey and an umbrella in my drink…ah if only.

Another thing that I truly truly love about this collection is the clean lines. It is a simple and easy collection for spring/summer that almost feels like a resort collection. A beautiful collection of pieces you wouldn’t have to slave over ironing, or need an hour to get dressed in.

Paul & Joe currently has a flagship store in California, with a store in New York on the horizon. Perhaps it and I can meet up in the big apple this summer (cross your fingers) but for now I guess the only way I’ll be squeezing into these lovelies is in my vacation dreams.
