Boyfriend and I love Shopping, but when it comes to buying a christmas present for perhaps the most picky, yet well suited man on the planet, It takes quite a heap of imagination… here are just a few pic-spirations  from one of our favorite style blogs Guerreisms.

Grishley Q&A!

Ten questions I would love to ask!

  1. Why is it that there are never enough hand-sewing needles or bobbie pins in the world?
  2. How long is too long for wine to sit corked on the counter?
  3. Why is it that not until I eat an entire bag of kettle chips that I realize… hmmm… Shouldn’t have done that.
  4. Where in the (explicative) world are my car keys?
  5. Am I allowed at the midnight premiere of Twilight if I laugh uncontrollably whenever Jacob rips off his shirt? (Sidenote however- Jacob would be so perfect to date, you can run with him as a dog or a man… so epic for undercover jogging surveillance!)
  6. Can my neighbors hear me when I sing in the shower because no one is home?
  7. Were my roommates home when I was singing in the shower…?
  8. Is it wrong to be secretly obsessed with the Kardashians, but only admit to liking Bruce and Lamar?
  9.  Can someone ask Ryan Secrest to get on “Bruce and Lamar Take a Break?”
  10. KIM! KIM! KIM! can I take a picture with you!?!?!?!?!?

Ten Answers from Grishley!

  1. Yes, Pandora- I am STILL listening.
  2. Salt and Cracked Black Pepper Ridged Kettle Chips… the Family Size
  3. Size 7 or a Child’s 5.5
  4. 5′ solid. No… my feet do not touch the ground when I ride public transportation.
  5. Losing my car keys, and trying to put on hot skinny jeans from the dryer.
  6. The dark, choreographed dancing, and failure. Also… failing at choreographed dancing. Oh and spiders.
  7. I ate a whole loaf of french bread once… In the time it took me to get home from Safeway.
  8. Siberian Husky…I really really really really don’t like cats.
  9. The Office.
  10. Family, friends, good food, good wine and good music.

About darn time.

I have the most amazing team ever!

It is so easy to say now, as all the strings are clipped, all the models are fit, and nights these days have a better sleep to stress ratio, that I literally have the best team in the business.

I am so thankful and so amazed at the support and encouragement I have around me at all times and the PATIENCE my team has for me. The past few months have been such an amazing experience and I couldn’t have done it without them. I am so thankful for how often my team looks at me and says “do you need help” the perfect pin needed to pop a young design ego. My team has the most incredible knack for saying “grish-cut the crap” and I love that.

It has been literally some of the best weeks of my design life lately, and I can’t thank my team enough. I have the best friends, the most supportive family, and hands-down the most amazing parents on the whole damn planet.
Thank you to each and every one of you, for making the trip to Portland, for holding my hand through auditions, and for always offering to make another pot of coffee. I would be in shambles if it weren’t for you all!

A big, and long awaited love note.

Always, Grishley.
