Goodbye to 21.
All in all this year has been pretty incredible, I won’t lie it started out with some bumps and bruises, and it taught oh so many lessons along the way. If I could bottle the past year of my life, it would be some damn good wine.
I am so proud of the family I have, and the one I have built around me over the past few years, and looking back and 21, I don’t know if I could have ever done anything without them. The biggest lessons in life come to us in moments where we have to decide whether or not we are going to sink or swim , and this year Grishley has done some serious doggie-paddle.
I am so lucky, so fortunate and so proud to get up everyday and do what I am doing and I can honestly say it was a tough road to get here but the grass is so stinking green over here I don’t mind. I am so blessed and so thankful to have such amazing parents, a brother who picks on me endlessly, and taught me to not take BS from anyone. I am so lucky to have the most amazing best friend in the world who is always compassionate and understanding. I happen to have found the most adorable and patient man to date, and if it weren’t for him I’d be walking around with food in my teeth always.
I am so excited to celebrate, not only another year to get my ID checked at the grocery store, but also to celebrate the people who have made this year so incredible.
To all of those who have helped me, provided for me, modeled for me, or just been there, thank you so very much.
Love you all,
Not at all attempting to drop hints of any kind with this little post about weddings, I’d just like to state that I am mildly obsessed with wedding blogs. I love love 100layercake, but this new little lovely has me all reeled in! Ladies and Gentleman, Green Wedding Shoes.
Just a little sneak peak…

In case you haven’t seen this video yet, here is a little look into the life of The Sartorialist, Scott Schurmann. I have seen it 1000 times now. Not only is it inspiraitonal, but it also makes me want to stumble around a big city camera in hand… RIGHT NOW!
If you haven’t been setting aside time on your Friday nights to check out NBC’s new show GRIMM then you NEED TO!
Not only is it shot in Portland, but it is also so well written it will not only scare the pants off of you, but it will also have you wondering what scary predicament you would get yourself into so the handsome GRIMM would come save you!
I had the absolute pleasure of meeting and fitting the lovely Bitsie Tulloch in a few of my fashion week samples recently, and was even lucky enough to have her wear one of my looks on her way into Craig Ferguson!
As sexy as late-late night is the lovely Bistie De-Grishley’d before the interview (I would have too, it I had her amazing figure!) but here’s hoping a pic will pop up online soon! Bitsie was just the sweetest, and her dog Henry came in a sure close second (Adorable!)
Here is the trailer! Just in case you didn’t have a better reason to get scared today!
I am so happy to announce that my last showing of the Grishley Fall/Winter 2012 collection will be on Nike Campus this November!
It is National Heritage Month for Native Americans and I am so excited to be able to participate in such an amazing event, celebrating the artistry of the Native Culture! Nike will be premiering their new N7 line at the event, and my team and I will be there to rub elbows with the turnout!
Friends and Family are welcome to come!
See you there!
It has been such a busy few weeks since PFW, and the events just keep coming! The wrap up of the current collection will happen this month and I am so excited to start the new year with a new collection!
While we are still at it however a video of the show is finally available for your viewing without jumping through too many hoops!
Look for more new posts this week!
Hope you enjoy!
