Goodbye to 21.
All in all this year has been pretty incredible, I won’t lie it started out with some bumps and bruises, and it taught oh so many lessons along the way. If I could bottle the past year of my life, it would be some damn good wine.
I am so proud of the family I have, and the one I have built around me over the past few years, and looking back and 21, I don’t know if I could have ever done anything without them. The biggest lessons in life come to us in moments where we have to decide whether or not we are going to sink or swim , and this year Grishley has done some serious doggie-paddle.
I am so lucky, so fortunate and so proud to get up everyday and do what I am doing and I can honestly say it was a tough road to get here but the grass is so stinking green over here I don’t mind. I am so blessed and so thankful to have such amazing parents, a brother who picks on me endlessly, and taught me to not take BS from anyone. I am so lucky to have the most amazing best friend in the world who is always compassionate and understanding. I happen to have found the most adorable and patient man to date, and if it weren’t for him I’d be walking around with food in my teeth always.
I am so excited to celebrate, not only another year to get my ID checked at the grocery store, but also to celebrate the people who have made this year so incredible.
To all of those who have helped me, provided for me, modeled for me, or just been there, thank you so very much.
Love you all,
xoxox-Birthday Grish.
